The day after

So i went to bed at around 6ish in the morning after the meetup. Woke up at around 10ish because I got hungry. I washed up a bit and went down to McDonalds to grab a burger. Such a shame, really. Of all the good food in Bangkok, i had to pick McDonalds! Well, desperate times call for desperate measures! After grabbing a bite, i popped by the internet cafe near the guesthouse to check my mail.. ok fine, travbuddy and facebook as well hehehehe. Then i went back to my room and crashed for another 2 hours!

At 3pm, I met Aioh at KSR, after which we headed to Chatuchak market! I had a great time with Aioh, as usual. We didn't really shop much because I've got a terrible shopping stamina (seriously don't know how other girls do it!). Got some things I needed, after which we headed back to KSR.

We met Steph, Jear and Andre (who missed his morning bus to Phangan!) and went for dinner. After dinner, Aioh had to leave.. so we said our farewells. Then Jear had to catch his bus to the airport.. and Andre had to catch his bus to Koh Phangan! Booo everyone was leaving!

Steph and I then went off to do some shopping for cheap 100 baht t-shirts (i heart Bangkok). I did get myself some Sang Som from the streets after hearing so much about it from Jorrit... but I didn't really like it because it tasted like medicine! hahahaha. After that we decided to go for some Thai massage.. it wasn't my first time but it still hurts each time! hahah Steph screamed when the lady twisted her body at the very end, it was so hilarious!!! After the massage we decided to check out some rooftop bar called Roof. Good live music, great conversations and ice cold beer.. it was THE way to spend the night :) Tried to catch the Liverpool game on TV but it was too far! Rini texted me and I told her we were there but she did not turn up!

We left Roof and walked along KSR. We were just walking aimlessly and Steph was happily munching on her BBQ (so much for a hangover :P ). That was when I saw a familiar face, walking with her friend. It was Rini! Apparently she did try to look for us at Roof but could not find us. The 4 of us then headed off for a meal (meal count for the day: 5?!) and caught the last bits of the Liverpool game.

I swear it was fate that Steph and I were at that bar at that point because we managed to catch my ex-boyfriend, Torres, score a godfreakinAWESOME goal for Liverpool. wooot! We were SO happy we cheered for joy, together with the other people in the pub. Oh why oh why did i dump Torres! sigh. After the meal, we decided to retire for the night. Said our goodbyes to Rini and her friend.

And that pretty much sums up my weekend in Bangkok!
