Sunday - well it was more like 'first-sun-then-rain-day'
August 10, 2008
The morning weather was excellent - sun, sun, sun and only few little clouds... then it was only worse :( [come on - you are in London, what else did you expect hahahahaW
We went to the Thames - crossed Millennium Brigde and visited the Tate Modern Galery [RJ liked it - as for me - i won't comment it better;) ] We sat down in front of the Galery and this must have been the moment, when i lost my day pass:/ - remember - tickets are not to put into the side pockets! you will lose them while sitted (in exchange for this lost day-pass i got free meal - my Guardian Angel (he's very busy angel and a very good one!) or fortune cared about me - but this happend later so i better stay at the topic;).
We went back to the northern bank and visited St. Paul's cathedral - from here we headed to Marble Arch - where RJ and Amy had their bus tour and i went back to Southwark for my sunday service (it was a bit strange cuz though i was in england - the mess was in spanish:)
We met again at Westminster Abbey. Well, the 'almost-americans' didn't manage the entire tour and got off at Westminster hahaha (it was maybe borring or they got sick of the bus ride - i don't know)
Over St. Jams's Park we went to see the queen, but she was probably gone or had head ache, cuz they didn't open the gate of the Buckingham Palace for us. Over Green Park we went to the Hyde Park Corner and took the metro back to central London.
Somewhere at this point (i must be right - TAMA AKO ULIT?) we were talking about some stuff, when RJ said, "fria" would be the italian word for "cold" - i said - hahah -no way - it's more like "frio" and it's in spanish - not ilalian, italian word for "cold" is "freddo" and so we made a bet. Who'd win, would get free meal:)))
In the evening Amy - as a netral "Swizerland" - checked at the on-line dictionary and - RJ, let's say it together: i won! (and again loudly: JEGS HAS WON!) hahaha as u can see RJ has lost again (hinde ka tama, pero huwag kang mag-alala, KLUMPEL;), isang araw u will maybe win, in the far, far future ;))
From this point Ariel didn't want to bet again, cuz nobody likes to lose ;) haha
So, after cancelled visit at queen place we got back to Soho, for meal (if i remember it right) then Picadilly Circus - to see the Eros there.
When we were going home (i mean here hostel) Amy and RJ were that tired that they slept on the tube (poor kids - but this was maybe still the jetlag).
In the hostel, or better say on the hostel (cuz we went to the roof - a chill out place) we drank some polish vodka and tasted some polish kielbasa (for the word 'kielbasa' try maybe in the polish dictionary or in the good english one - this word was taken from polish and exist in english since almost 100 years now).
There were also my german room mates from Dresden and so we had a nice end of the day - looking over the roofs of southern London.
And the last topic, i almost forgot: from that night i could sleep very well, no more loudly spanish or romanian girls, and besides i found a free bed in my room with the special courtains, so i didn't care if somebody switched on the lights or not - i didn't see it anyway;)
Good night! Sleep tight my friends!
