Frank and Susie grand tour around the world

the road is long

Photos of the road!

Wow I havent updated this for a few weeks. I know you have been pestering me mum and Moni, but you know its hard work being a backpacker you need to sleep lots like a koala!!!

Now we finally got on our first Greyhound bus to Alice Springs. This is our first taster of what the northern terrotry is like. It is so flat, the sky is so big, it just like a roadrunner cartoon. The sand is so unbelievebly orange. As you drive along you may seen a bush fire, kangeroos, not many cars, and lots and lots of land. We were unfortuate our bus's air conditioning broke down an hour in. So we are now on a bus for 20 hours in 30+ degrees, we were literally melting. Even in the huge storm we had its was boiling. So at the moment asia buses may be winning!
