Walkin' seven levels

In August 2008 I travelled aroud Thailand for three weeks :-) I travelled from Bangkok, to Kanchanaburi, Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai, Chiang Dao and I trekked two days in the mountans nearby the Burmese border. After returning in Chiang Mai I traveld to Koh Samui just to relax, swim and doing nothing :-)

Walkin' seven levels

Today I went to Erawan National Park. It was a short ride and after driving by a massive dam I arrived at the entrance of the park. After buying a ticket I started walking, I heard great stories about this park with its beautiful waterfalls. The waterfalls exist of seven floors and different waterfalls. In a couple of waterfalls you can swim but you’re not alone. There are some fish willing to take a bite of unsuspecting tourists J I met some Germans and together we decided to climb above. Of course we walked too fast, it’s way too hot to climb that fast past the floors. After floor 2 there’s a post and you need to turn in any water or lemonade bottles. I thought its way too hot for that so I kept mine in my bag. As we walked higher the path would become narrower. And we had to climb over large rocks. At the fifth level we stopped for a break and a short swim. It was great to have a short swim because of the warmth and humidity. I didn’t go higher than the fifth level as I thought I was high enough
