Laid-back Sark

No plane, but a train and the wind will take me to see French isles and the Channel islands. The island Sark is certainly enviroment friendly: cars are not allowed on this island. Locals travel by bike or horse and carriage. The famous writer Victor Hugo loved to recycle things. A door became a table. A clock was made into a cabinet etc.

Laid-back Sark

The fog has gone and we set sail to the island Sark. Cars are not allowed on this island. Locals travel by bike or horse and carriage. It is not easy to get to Sark. I have to jump out the boat, get through the water and then climb a lot of stairs.

I'd never heard of Sark until stories of it's first elections were on the news today, so I decided to check it out. I'm really glad you did a blog on it. It seems like such a fascinating place. I'd love to visit sometime.
