Lanzarote - A nice place in the sun to let in the new year 2008

I love all the canary islands, I've visited all of them and my return to Lanzarote was much needed. We left the UK just before new years eve 2007 for a week in the sun and we weren't disappointed :) Traveled the whole island re-visiting places that have changed little. We stayed in Playa Blanca and if you wondering where to stay on this island this is it! It has everything, even a ferry to take you across to Fuetaventura for an excursion if you feel like a change. I hignly recommend this island. especially if you live in England and it's winter! Brrrrrrrrrr! Get over here :)
