MINNESOTA MUSIC BLOG

While hanging out with my TravBuddy posse, I mentioned that one of my most memorable Minnesota music moments came when I lived in Duluth as a boy. My favorite baseball team was the Minnesota Twins. Every televised game, you would see a series of animated commercials starring the hapless Hamm's Beer bear and his woodland friends.

The Hamm's Beer became so well-known and identified with Minnesota that the St. Paul Pioneer Press named the bear as a runner-up on its list of "150 Influential Minnesotans of the Past 150 Years" in 2000.
