We took a tour in Klaipeda to the sites of the old city along with the marvel of the Amber Museum in Palanga. It starts with a drive by bus towards Palanga through the central part of Klaipeda. We stopped at the Botanical Park in Palanga designed in the 19th century, that houses 200 species of trees and shrubs. The palace, which is now the Amber Museum, is quite interesting which reveals the marvels of Baltic gold: its origins, places where amber can be found, processing and jewelry making.
From the old town, I and my wife didn't join the group back to the port but walked back to the port so we can see more of Klaipeda.
