Going to the beach and town

Today we biked to the beach. It was probably about a 1 mile bike ride. Lake Michigan is absolutely gorgeous and calm in this area. It was too cold to do much more than wade in the water. I loved how peaceful it was on the beach. After visiting the beach we came back and the girls enjoyed the "heated" pool at the campground for about 30 minutes before advising us that they were freezing in the pool:-)!
We visited town for dinner. We had dinner at the Pizza Palace. It was really good pizza and had great service. There was not much to do in Mackinaw City except eat and visit shops.
