This place is worth a stop - the views along the way up are nice and the old ruined town is interesting to see. We couldn't actually go into the church or see much on the inside, but it was fun to wander around looking for some shade to cool off in! It was 43ยบ there! As I wrote earlier, this town at one time had around 1000 inhabitants and was built as a secure refuge from pirates who often raided towns closer to the coast.
