We have finally arrived... it took a couple hours but it was fine... we were winging this whole trip, so it was good time. I just didn't think we would be that tired... lol - idiot I know. But it was nice to get to stay in Kayenta, which is what I think the center of the northern az resides. Close to the Four Corners, Canyon De Chelly, Monument Valley and of course Page... = ) so the days journey was over, tomorrow is the big plan to start seeing the attractions...

If you're looking for the perfect hotel in Kayenta, the Hampton Inn hotel in Kayenta-Monument Valley has to be seen to be believed. It features a unique three-story adobe style hotel and all rooms are enhanced with Native American colors and decor. As well, the spacious lobby in our Kayenta hotel is tastefully decorated in the classic Arizona style and features a big, warm, inviting fireplace.

Great place to stay, great hotel close to Monument Valley, and only a 1 1/2 from Canyon De Chelly and the Four Corners. Great place and was amazed by the native american flavor! They even served Navajo Tacos... = ) great place to stay and great restaurant inside. The gift shop has great items, but to me seemed a little over priced. They have the great Cloud 9 beds, and working heater since our stay was a cold night!
