So the day had started and I picked up Liz from my hotel at about 9 oclock. We had some things to do before we started up north, she had to get her nails did - look fly just in case she saw an attractive indian of course - apparently i do not apply = ( but nonetheless, we found a suitable place - and we also had to satisfy her need for ORANGE CHICKEN..!!! Panda Express HERE WE COME!! But beforehand we stopped by a walmart and camera store - she needed to get a local phone for her to use in the states and also a new camera (which we later found out was OVERPRICED!!)
Anywho, on our way out the first stop was Montezuma Castle - resides in the Camp Verde area and resides right behind the Montezuma Castle Hotel and Casino. On the way there are some small shops that sell "authentic" fry bread... lol it honestly cracked me up... = ) I figure we would have more time later on to have a LEGENDARY NAVAJO TACO... !!
Once we arrived, there was a small looping parking lot with limited parking. A small walk-way lead to enterence building which we had to pay 5$... I thought me being Indian I would get in free... once again, apparently not... = ( we walked around what seemed to be a small park with great scenery and knowledgable facts. Such a beautiful sight, and the photos speak for themselves, after we enjoyed ourselves, it was back to the road...
