It was pretty much a quiet day here in the valley of the sun. I honestly don't get out too much and see my own city, but I figured since I am going to be on this site - I should spread the informational wealth. We have a zoo, even though I haven't see any others - I really can't compare it. I figured since family was headed out that way I would go to... since like always - its been a long time since I was last there. I was pretty surprised how much this zoo has expanded. Not only did I really enjoy myself, the kids seemed to be having a blast too. I thought they wouldn't seem to hack the heat, but surprisingly the zoo has trees designed to shade the side walks and mists every once in a while along the trail to help keep us cool. There were so many attractions and animals that I haven't seen or even heard of... such a delight. While I enjoyed myself, I am looking forward to the holiday season where they light up the zoo with lights. Hence "Zoo Lights" as their main attraction... = )
