A Whole Lotta Sexiness...

I had the pleasure and honor of hanging with Brett. Not only is this a great guy - he is possibly my new wingman. He has taught me so much about much, life and the fruitations of alcohol or more detailed beer... what a man! We had the great time eating and making fun of Los Dos Molinos (translation anyone?!?) which you can read about in the blog. But this was something that took place after. I mean after such a hype let down of a restaurant, whats there to do? you can't sulk in that moment - no way was i going to let Az go down as a chump! i mean having the meet up later tonight, i know that was my ace up my sleeve - but being so close to South Mountain, why not drive up?  Those for you not family with South Mountain, it is what us Azers call a mountain. And you guessed it! - its south of Phoenix.

.. = ) any other questions? Good.  Other than that, South Mountain has many hiking trails. You are able to driive at the bottem and follow the trails up, or you able to drive to the very top of the mountain where all the satellite/antennas are. From the pictures you see, you can clearly get an overview our the poluted state capital of Arizona... !!!

Brett and I choose to do the Summit trail which in fact is the one of the highest points to drive to. Being in the shape that I am in - there was no other option but too drive... plus hiking in this heat is almost pure suicide! But yet i yearned for it to be cooler - so many people walking and enjoying the weather, I was envious! I sure wish Sal aka Sincitytraveler was here, he sure would tear up these trails as if they were nothing.

Possibly the rest of the LA crew or Krew?!? and Las Vegas Crew?! (if there are any other crews out there - i apologizes for ommiting you!) maybe someday we will have a meet up and enjoy the fruits of hiking this mountain can give. Anywho, upon the way up  - Brett's great driving helped us manuever through the curvy roads like they were nothing! handled it like a pro while I was in charge of the one arm photos - poor photos btw... sorry Brett!

Atlas we arrived to the Summit and enjoy the poluted air... = )  then of course came out the unofficial TB travel tool - the camera...  and the rest is HISTORY!!...
