I had about 6 hours left in Barcelona. I hadn’t made it to the Picasso Museum yet, so that was the first order of business. I am not a huge Picasso fan, but I did enjoy seeing a bit of his earlier works and thought the way the museum was organized really helped facilitate seeing the progression of his style. I also really enjoyed the “Las Meninas” temporary exhibit going on right now, which detailed the many artists who have done copies of the painting.
After the museum, I decided to just do some wandering in La Ribera and did some window shopping (damn the weak US dollar!).
My flight to Oporto was out of Girona so I had decided to take the bus to the airport. This seemed to be the most affordable option for someone using that airport. The bus leaves from Estacio d' Autobusos Barcelona Nord and takes about an hour to get to there.
