A reeaaly early start 4.30 ready to leave bang on at 5.00 where we were driven down to Ankor Wat, and stumbled down through the dark where we all sat and faced eat and over the next hour and a bit watched the sunrise " it was pretty cloudy but some of the sky did light up in some nice reds " you know its a good photo moment when there are 500 people with cameras and tripods taking photos as well. We took the chance to walk round Angkor What with our guide while most of the tourists were having breakfast, getting plenty of photos of this famous building, before getting the bus back to the hotel for breakfast. After a quick breakky we went back on the bus all the way down to the Ton Le Sap Lake, where we had a our on the boat and saw the floating town " with floating churches and schools and basketball courts, and stopped off at a little floating tourist shop which had a crocodile farm on it.
The bus went back into town and most people got off but me and another lady went onto this other temple which was an hour and a half away. However we were treated to a pretty much deserted temple with very few tourists, and a tour by Mr Ly through the rocks climbing off inside the jungle very much like Indiana Jones, and also the benefit of kids not tryign to sell postcards to you every 10 seconds. Got back to the hotle and we all went off to the soup dragon (no Klangers here) for one last meal together as a group before we all went our seperate ways, anda few of us went for drinks at the Temple Bar " a bar full of Khmer statues (none of which were original) before retiring back to the hotel.
