Went to the Cathedral in the morning and then caught up with the others, to watchthe perade goign on in the main saure. A variety of different school groups appeared to be there ( poor kids having to do stuff for school on a sunday) and some regiment of Peruvian soldiers who seemed to have not bothered to dress up properly. This was being overseen by large crowds and also what appeared to be the mayor and Sadam Houssien, well we thought he looked like him. It must be a cumpusary thing, to havea big droop mistache and wear aviators if your watchign a parade. We sat and watched the rest of the parade from a coffee bar, as the band started to get tired and get wrong notes toward the end. Tired to go to the inca museusm but it was closed on a sunday so ended up goign to the Precolumbian Art Mseum, full of old stuff. Hd some chicken and chips in a local bar before dashing off back to the hotel to be picked up by the guide who was called Puma I. Got on the bus and we visited the convent the cathedral (again) and then up to Saqsaywaman
and all the various rocks while getting rained upon lookin at them. The guide spoke English well but he kept talking french to this other english lady to her amusment. Got back in the evening and wentfor an indian which was a bit unimpressive before sayign bye to the people who were leaving and not carryign on the second half of the trip.
