What do you do with yourself once you've gotten home after a trip of a life time? Pack up your bags and head to a farm. This has turned into an on-going blog describing my stints to Brimin Lodge, a farm in the Australian countryside. Learn about what it's like to help out on a farm in North East Victoria; everything, from the mundane to the challenging. Welcome to country Victoria.

The beautiful Brimin Lodge!

So many things to do, so many things to play with. There is never a dull moment up here, and the chirruping birds and summer sun will have you wondering why you ever bought that place in the city.

Feeding sheep, feeding the chooks, and tending to one of the horses' injured feet are just the sort of daily things on the to-do list. Driving the tractor was a ball of fun! And at long last I learnt how to back four-wheel bike with the trailer on. Also, I think some people might find this funny so I thought I'd mention this: I found driving the boomlift and helping Ali chop a tree down scarier than anything I did in Africa. Yes, that includes the crocs, the lions, and the skydiving. Scary stuff.
