Cubs/Brewers Game
One of the cool things I get to do for my job is occasionally travel to places for alumni events. Well in July I was lucky enough to go to Milwaukee, WI to see the Cubs/Brewers game. This was really exciting for many reasons. One, because I get to travel to a different city to put on an event - meet new people, see new locations and get to drive a little bit away from Chicago- Two, I get to see the Cubs play (Which the Cubs I am a HUGE fan of so this is way exciting), Three - I have better seats at this game than I've ever had at our home field, Wrigley Field, which you can see in the pictures I've posted previously and Four - The Cubs and Brewers have had a rivalry all season long and so this game was COMPLETELY sold out due to the close proximately of Chicago and it was a really exciting, highly anticipated game.
I got to see my favorite players AND got to see Carlos Zambrano pitch, which I had never seen before. He did really well. Miller Park is pretty sweet. They have a ton of cool attractions and places to eat. We had our event at a different location and then went to Miller Park later...so I didn't get to eat/drink there...but I saw a ton of really good looking dishes go by!All in all, if you are in Chicago and are a huge Cubs fan and can't get tickets here...Try to go to Milwaukee. It's only an hour and a half drive and their stadium is really cool! I highly recommend going. After all, Miller is brewed there and it just tastes so much better!! :)
