Blue Riva Hotel Cannes

This is a nice but basic hotel not very far from the boulevard La Croisette and the center of Cannes. We stayed here because we wanted to be close to a city center in the south of France and because we wanted to have the possibility to get of town quickly. This hotel was perfect for that. It was located near a main street so it was easy to get the car and drive to Nice, Monaco or Antibes for example. But when we wanted to stay in Cannes, we were on the boulevard in 5 minutes walk. The hotel itself was basic but clean. We liked the free parking of the hotel because we were there by car. For this reason, i would go back to this hotel and i would recommend it to others but if you want something more romantic or more amenities, you should look for another hotel.

This place isn't really a cafe but more a restaurant. The menu offers different kinds of food: meat, fish, soups and salads. Especially the salads are really nice! We liked the food so much that we ate here 3 nights! The restaurant is located on the Boulevard La Croisette, in front of the filmfestival builing. It's not as expensive as most restaurants in Cannes and for that reason it's a very busy place. You have to be here early or have a reservation. After dinner time, people come to this place to have a drink. Especially the cocktails are very nice here. When you don't like cocktails, there are also many icecreams on the menu! This is really a great place to go and it's affordable!
