Streets of Dubrovnik....
Words can't capture how beautiful Dubrovnik
is, only visiting it yourself will you be able to understand how it can be described as picture perfect. Visiting it in July it is swamped with tourists, but that is overlooked once you enter the walls of the city and get lost in its narrow streets. Walking the wall that encircels the city, you have an outsiders view on the entire city and the sea, and a birds eye perspective on all the bustling alleys within Dubrovnik. The atmosphere is quaint the people are incredibly friendly and the blueness of the adriatic sea is hypnotic. After exploring the streets, walking the exterior wall, it was time to take a swim in the sea. There are two bars that are located outside the city walls and offer a chance to plunge into the water off the rock cliffs. We ended up spending an entire afternoon here lounging on the rocks, soaking up the sun and swimming. That night we returned to one of these bars and took in the sea at night time a definite must for everyone that visits here.
Our time in Dubrovnik was short, since we wanted to head to some of the islands off of Croatia's cost, so we were off the next morning to take a 6 hour ferry to Hvar
and island just outside of Split
