Stijn busy
My next meet-up was going to be in the far far north of the Netherlands. But the question is: Is it still the Netherlands? J After I picked up Alex in Zutphen, we checked our passports to see if they are good till 30 days after entrance of Friesland J . We were lucky. Around noon we arrived at the TravBuddy hotel, Eden oranje.

I parked my car in there parking garage and left our luggage at the desk. It was to early to check in. Outside was already sitting Mr. Brett. After ordering some coffee, more and more people were arriving. Jessica and Ket, Guido, Devika and Stijn, Marloes and Bart, Edwin and also Wendy. The organizer for the kiting was a little bit late. But Rowena showed up a little bit later.
I drove with Jessica to the Stukenwei in Wartena. Because her Tom(tom) forgot were Wartena is I picked up mine navigation. When I came back, her Tom suddenly remembered were it is. J So with 2 navigation systems we found easily our way to the stukenwei. The others were already there and waiting for us. Even the people that lived very close and were the owners of the property were sitting there to watch us. First to try was our Team leader Wendy. Just to try because she had to go back very soon.
After a snack and a drink it was my turn. Sander gave me some instruction what to do when what happens, and I was kiting very soon. He left me and told me you’re going to be fine. I stayed kiting for an hour I think. I had to stop because my legs and arms were very tired. But it was oh so much fun! We took a lot of pictures and now I know what they mean by saying “time flies when you’re having fun”. It was very soon 6 o’clock and we had to go back. We needed to freshen up and change clothes before dinner.
