So, I finally have interweb again after spending the past few days on a boat in the middle of the mediterranean. We just got back from walking around Fethiye a bit and will be staying here through tomorrow. Well... let me go back a few days since It has been a whle since I have written anything. After Cappadocia we took a crazy, crazy overnight bus to Olympus. In the middle of the night I awoke to the bus's sputtering engine as we slowly rolled down hill... of course the driver spoke no English and it was just Ariel, me and a few Aussie's that we had met at the Hostel who spoke any English so we had no clue what was going on... Luckily after about 20 minutes of the driver and his buddy working on the engine and pushing the bus a bit it finally got going and we made it safely to Olympus.

Once in Olympus we went for a hike through a really beautiful park that was filled with ancient ruins. We got to walk through old churches and houses that were all very beautifully hand carved... I couldn't believe how many ruins there were and how extensive they were or how we were allowed to just climb through all of it... without any ropes or barriers in sight. After that we spent the rest of the afternoon on the beach... although I forgot my suit at the hostel soooo I went in my unders hahah oops.
After the beach we went on a late night tour of the eternal flames of Olympus. These are naturally occuring fires that are a part of Greeth mythology and have been burning for some thousdands of years. The trek up was a bit scary since it was completely dark on the rocky trail and we were without a guide.

After that we took a trip to the port so that we could begin our four day boat trip along the coast of Turkey. There were 10 other people on the trip with us and we spent most days swimming and relaxing on the boat. I got to go snorkeling a few times and even saw a bunch of turtles. The entire coast was lined with more ancient ruins and we even went over some that were sunken beneath the sea. Every night we slept on deck under the stars because it was so hot in the cabins.

Now that we are getting to the end of travels we're trying to figure out how we want to spend our last few days... I think we are going to end up staying in Turkey and not to pack Greece in since it would be too rushed-- I'll have to save that for another trip later on... hah.
Well... I better let someone else get their hands on the interweb. Hope everyone's doing well.
