My Fifth Farewell to John (JPChoi).....
Ok, so our friend John is moving to South Korea (or so he says..hee hee). Everytime I see him it's supposed to be the last but I manage to get another visit in - twice this last time in Vegas in fact! I have been trying to convince him to come visit in LA while I am here and low and behold I get a phone call that he's coming to town! I wish I could say he came to see us but he had stuff to take care of for his trip! LOL. It's ok though....I can pretend! HA HA.
I intended to get up early so I could be done with work and be ready to go early but like always, never quite works out that way! I get the call that we are going to meet Angel and fortunately, I think I will have time to finish getting ready and be there on time for once! We decide to meet down at the Huntington Beach Pier and we will figure out plans from there.
Amazingly, I was the first one to arrive! John was taking surface streets and pretty far behind but he still managed to beat Angel there! I hung out at our meeting point and yapped with Melanie while the cops tried to show off for all the girls by walking up and "pulling cars over". HA HA. I get a call from John has arrived and shortly after Angel pops around the corner with her two youngest who arrived looking absolutely adorable! We opted to head over to Ruby's on the Pier so they could eat dessert and John and I could eat dinner.
After a great dinner and conversation, we wandered along the pier and back over to the beach where the kids played and ran around.
The night started off a bit chilly and pretty windy but after dinner the wind completely died down and it was a perfect night out in the OC! Once it was time to head out, we chatted for a bit said our goodbyes (again lol) and headed home for the evening. It was a great time and happy I got to see John one more time before he leaves us for South Korea!
