I was woken up, once again, with only a few hours of sleep. I get downstairs to have some quick breakfast and we board the bus for a long, long drive. This was the longest bus drive of the trip. We finally arrived in Paris, and traffic was horrible, Los Angeles status. We received a quick bus tour of the city and then were taken to our hotel for check-in and dinner. Shortly after, we took the metro to the eiffel tower. The line to go up was horrendously long and about an hour after waiting, they stopped letting people onto the top (3rd) section, but I'd been before, so no worries, a few of the people I was with were bummed. We get to the 2nd lvel, hang out, take some pictures, and eventually head back down via stairs. We decide to take a taxi back, the line to take a taxi was ridiculously long so we decided to attempt the metro. We got there and the metro people were saying it was the last train of the night and to run to it, so we did. Unfortunately, being in such a hurry, no one checked if it was the right line, and of course, it wasn't. After about 2 stops going in the wrong direction, we get off in an area thats totally untouristy and can't even find a taxi. After much walking and roaming around looking for taxis, we find one and have it take us back to the hotel. Everyone was exhausted from partying the night before and the long drive so this was an early night, everyone was asleep by 2AM.
