Day 10:
I woke up early, again. The first day in a while where I wasn't feeling the aftermath from the night before. We walked to the train, took it into Santa Lucia, then got on a boat to Venice. There are no cars in venice, at all, just boats, the idea was pretty crazy and mind boggling considering I'm from LA where it's impossible to be without a car. We walked around and explored, got a little lost. The great thing about Venice is that no matter how lost you are, you're never really lost, there's always signs everywhere pointing to the main sites, no matter what street (or "alley") you end up on. I then went on a Gandola ride with Lindsey, Julia, Shawna, Jay, and Jen. Bought a bottle of champagne to enjoy on our ride... That was fun, our guy was very funny and licked the back of one of the girls heads, and she was extremely creeped out/disgusted, it was pretty awesome! We then went to have an "authentic" venetian dinner.
Venice, Italy.
Each table held 4 people, and had 2 bottles of wine per table. Our table was the last one, so we only had 2 people at it. 1 bottle per person basically... I took the red wine. Towards the end of dinner, the table behind me still had over 1/2 a bottle of red wine left so I "helped" them finish it... On our way out of the restaurant, Alfred found an untouched bottle of red wine which we took and sneaked out, which we split on the train ride back to our hotel. As soon as we got back into town, we bought a bottle of vodka and continued the party in what will forever be known as "412", it was the hotel room number in which we were in, why its known as that is because for the rest of the trip, everyone in the room had inside information on all this other stuff, i remembered very little of it, and in fact, apparently did some "questionable" things that night, haha. The majority of that night was a blur to me, but I was filled in the next morning. Called it a night around 3AM, or so I'm told...
