Climbing the Tower and getting kicked out of strip clubs...

Anna, Ben and I woke early the next morning as we were determined to climb the tower and avoid the massive ques that we knew would come up by 10am. We got there just after 9am and decided to climb the first 2 storeys. I ate climbing up things, I get very dizzy and disorientated for some reason but I dont think you can get a good appreciation of it unless you climb up. At the first platform we wandered around for ahwile and at the second. At the second you then had the option of taking the elevator up to the very top! We didn't know that was a possiblity so we bought our tix, qued up for awhile and eventually got on.
It was amazing how long that ride took up to the top, it made you fully aware of just how bloody high up we really were! It was amazing and the view of all of Paris spread out beneath us was breathtaking.
It was an enjoyable morning and we made it back to the hotel around midday, Anna and I got some lunch from the bakery then found a nice place to sit in the sunshine and enjoy coffee, the Parisian way. It was such a hot day!! I could feel myself burning. After awhile I went back to the hotel and Ben and I had a nap. For Lori and Ruby's birthday I'd decided to take them out for a 3 course meal as they were both about to go travelling so material items would have been pointless.
We got there about 6pm and met another fellow TB as well as some of Lori's Canadian mates who were travelling. We wandered around looking for a restaurant who could cater for about 10 people and eventually came across one with an entertaining waiter. He was hilarious! He enjoyed pulling the piss out of us in French and insinuating that Ben was a female due to his lustrous locks!
Ruby, Lori and I entertained ourselves with taking comical and rude pics on Dereks camera, while Ben and Derek flirted with the waiter. At the end of the night somehow the drinks mysteriously didn't occur on our bill!!! Sweet as - we checked that that was correct and I think we owe thanks to Ben and his hair for that stroke of luck!!! After a yummy meal and dessert we decided to find ourselves a decent bar to drink at, stopping in some of the adult shops along the way!
We eventually came to this cozy looking bar with a corner of couches and a live cover band, Parisian but singing some good old rock songs in English.
Then the band asked if there were any song requests.. I yelled out Mr Jones by Counting Crows, so they asked me up to sing. Well no thankyou but with that suggestion all of the crew started chanting and telling me to get up there, Lori begging coz it was her birthday. So a lil nervy, a lil drunk, i got up and sang. Think everyone expected a Cameron Diaz effort from My Best Friends wedding but the singling lessons and training I'd had from 10-14yrs paid off and I didn't embarrass myself too badly.
Lori, Rubz and I just weren't finished with the evening yet.. It was near 2am and we were in the red light district of Paris.. we wanted to hit up a strip club. Dunno why but that was our plan. So we evetually found one with some old hag outside. It seemed to promise all these things but when we got inside it was dead.
