Praamsailing
What can I say? Praamsailing was quite relaxing…very enjoyable. My GPS was a little off in bringing us to the right place for the sailing, but after finally finding the group on the boat, we set off four our two hour Praamsailing adventure through the waterways of Friesland.
Present for this event were Quim, Matt, Wendy, Sanne, Femke, Narrie, Wilco, Alex, Ket, Bart, Marloes, Suat, Suat’s friend Onur (Thanks Alex for the spelling), Devika, Micky, and John. The boat brought us through some quiet canals, a nature reserve (with some nice, fresh berries we picked from the boat) and through numerous holiday campgrounds. We even scoped out some boats for the New Year’s Eve meetup?
Some light snacks and soft drinks were provided, so after the sailing, we were ready for the first of the two main events, the big group dinner at Humphrey’s.
