Today started cloudy, but during the day the sun came out :D
We went to the Moominvalley museum, the cathedral and a park with a view of one of the big lakes. We even saw a few weddingcouples at the cathedral.
This morning started with a bit of rain, so we decided to start the day with culture: the moominvalleymuseum. This is a very nice museum, with original drawings by Tove Jansson and miniatures from the stories. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to make photo's. Ofcourse we also had to visit the moominshop and spend some money there . Luckily for us we didn't have a lot of money with us ;) So after the shop we visited our good friend Otto again. When we left the museum it wasn't raining anymore, but it was stil cloudy.
After lunch (subway) we went to do some more sightseeing, we even discovered a little bit of blue sky and where joking about that it was getting sunny. Our next destination was a park in the north of the city fromwhere we had a nice view of one of Tampere's bog lakes and the amusement park. We passed the former Finlayson factory (textile factory) and after a while we saw more and more blue sky and we actually got our sun :) We walked around the park and enjoyed the sun on a bench in the park.
I had some problems with my camera or better said my batteries, so we went shopping for new batteries. We found an electronics shop and there they had to nice chairs standing in front of an LCD television and it was showing swimming at the Olympics :) So we sat there for a while, we just couldn't resist it. We then visited our favourite coffee place: The Coffee House.
We then went to visit the Cathedral but we couldn't go inside because there was a wedding taking place. Because of the good weather we decided to wait on the steps at the side entrance of the church. When the wedding party had left we entered the church and looked around, we didn't get a lot of time because another wedding was going to take place. We waited for a little while again in the sun, I took a sneaky picture through the window of the happy couple, and then the sun went behind some small clouds so we decided to go eat dinner in the center.
