I will start with a little bit of yesterday, Inges backpack got delivered to the hotel in the evening :)
In the morning we had a breakfast buffet that was very good, a lot of different things so it was hard to choose ;) Then we left to take the train to Helsinki. We bought a three day regional tourist card, so now we can take any train, bus or tram in Helsinki but also in Vantaa were we are staying in the hotel. In Helsinki we took the 3T tram, this tram passes most of the important tourist sights. We first tought about renting bicycles, but it was very cloudy today and we didn't want to risk it. From our first stop we walked to the Sibelius monument, this is on a lot of tourist trips there were many busses there.
For our lunch we went to the finish version of McDonalds: Hesburger. After lunch we took the tram again, we wanted to go to the rockchurch, but we took a wrong stop so instead we saw a nice market :) Then we took the tram again and visited the Finnish departmentstore Stockmann. After this we did go to the rockchurch and it probably was good we didn't go there earlier because it just opened for the afternoon. The church looks really nice on the inside, but it didn't feel like a church. Here there were a lot of tourists again.
Since our feet were tired and it was late in the afternoon we decided to go back to Vantaa and get something to eat there. We went to a nice italian restaurant were we had a good pizza. Now its time to go and try a Finnish sauna :)
