This is about a trip I took with my Dad and my brother. Then I was ditched my my dad and brother. Sorry if my tenses are all confused I wrote some of the blogs in the present then later, at home, updated them in past tense... sorry.

ITALIA!!!

ugh... ghetto

Roma, Roma, Roma. Wow what a city. Ok I will give you the skinny: we connected in Frankfurt to Rome... However our bags did not. Bummer. We stayed at the airport waiting for a while but it was getting late so we decided to head into the city to find a hotel. We decided that it would be best to stay near Roma Termini so that it would be easier to get up the next day and return to the airport. Bad move Roma Termini is in the ghetto. Sorry if you live here but it wasn't a very friendly area.

Without seeing any other parts of Rome thus far, it was a bleak out look. The rest of the day consisted of eating day old pizza, buying toothpaste, hoping not to get mugged as we walk along the dark cobblestone streets.

All we could do is hope for the best.
