The setting was beautiful. They'd do the ceremony at the bottom of a little hill on a tiny dock on a little pond with cabins and mountains all around. If I wasn't a beach bum, it'd be perfect for me too! There was a bunch of family and friends there, a nice big tent, plenty of fantastic food, and a band to look forward to.
Tori looked gorgeous. I mean, she's really in great shape now, and her dress really let her shine. Leigh and the boys in their tuxes were pretty damn sharp, too.
I have to say that Lori and I looked pretty damn hot. She had a lovely green dress that she'd bought special for the wedding. I myself had come prepared with all but the coat of my Thai suit that I had made in Bangkok. What kind a Texan would I be if I hadn't brought my boots to don under my slacks? Funny thing is, I thought I'd be the only one to rock the boots, but it turned out I was but one of three musketeers who'd had the same idea. I liked the other two well so I can't say I was agged about it.
Anyway, it was a beautiful wedding. The food was yummy, but I had to schedule it in between wine and beer. There was a nice selection of cheeses and fruit and bacon wrapped scallops just to kick it off. Lost track of the labels on the rest of the food as I didn't really taste it in between the Swithback ales. It wasn't until the band kicked off and we started dancing that the party really started. It really was a blast. I'm a guy. I don't judge wedding's by the ceremony. I judge them by the food, drink, entertainment, and company. I give this one 5 stars.
Congrats y'all! Love you!
