Gypsum and Eagle

The Relay was in Gypsum, but it was the Eagle County Relay. When we got there, we went to the Rec center that was connected to the park where the relay was held. I suggest visiting said center because it was very nice. I wish I had more time to use it.
After setting up we went to a nearby Mexican restaurant and had lunch. It was really hard to find a restaurant at all in Gypsum. Gypsum is not a town with a lot of nearby conveniences. All I saw was a gas station, a grocery store, and a couple of restaurants.
My son and I went back to Eagle soon after to rest in the hotel. We stayed at the Best Western near I-70. I recommend taking a walk around Eagle. It is a beautiful area with good bike paths. The only thing I would add to Eagle is a department store. If you do need a swim suit or something, there is a second hand store. They have a lot of really nice, some new, items that people bring or buy and then don't want to pack in their suitcases to go home.
