Cologne (or Koln as the locals would call it)

Germany is sooo much cooler than I thought it would be. Bratwurst is seriously the best food ever invented. hands down. I think I will be dreaming of bratwurst every night on this trip. The best bratwurst are to be found in the Christmas markets that are set up everywhere. We stopped in Cologne today. The only real touristy thing to see here is the cathedral. You can't miss it. You walk out of the train station.. and BOOM! there it is. We decided to climb up to the top. I think about 2 million steps later (its actually more like 600 because i counted) we were at the top with shaky knees and chattering teeth. its really pretty up there and amazing views of the city. two thumbs up for those motivated. btw, we took one of those german bullet trains to get here.. and those things are awesome!
