So my alarm was supposed to go off and 5am and it did... I just had no idea that it did and I slept right through the repeated attempts it made. Fortunately I happened to wake up sometime after 6 and of course panicked. I got up, raced to take a shower, grabbed my things, and then left. I looked for a txi everywhere to take me to the airport but no such luck came my way. I ended up taking the metro and ended up making it to the airport with 10 minutes to spare before the check-in closed. So I checked in and figured i had at least alittle bit of time before I needed to be at the gate, but that was not the case. I looked on the monitors and saw the flight was boarding.. So, I went through security and immigration and then ran to the gate.
I arrived in Hong Kong 3 and a half hours later. After going through a seriously long immigration line, I went to the hotel information desk and booked a hotel (since I couldnt find anyone to CS with). I took the airport express train to the city centre and then a taxi to my hotel. I stayed on the 22nd floor of a nice hotel.
