Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi
Today was just all about traveling!! I flew from Frankfurt to Jo’burg on South African Airways. The flight was a little over 10 hours but for some reason it went by very fast. This was my first time with South African and I really liked them. When we landed in Jo’burg, I waited in a seriously long security line before getting into the terminal for my flight to Nairobi. The flight to Kenya was fine. Once again it was with SA and it took about 4 hours and 20 minutes. Once I landed in Nairobi, I was met by the director of Ray of Hope ministries, who was the one in charge of organizing all of the medical clinics that we will be doing. Since I came on a separate flight from the rest of the team, we had to wait for them for like 7 hours until their flight from London arrived. Once they finally came, we went and checked in for our flight to Mombasa, only to find out that it was delayed for like 3 hours!! By the time we left, it was past midnight and I was worn out!! (obviously) ☺ Once we got to Mombasa, we checked into our hotel and went to bed. By the time I laid my head down to sleep, it was 3:30am!!
