Than we got ready to island hopping. First stop we made to Wisma Apung (floating cottage). You can tell by the name that this is located really on the beach. Pak Joko the man who owns it also has a sharks conservation thing (not really sure how to put it in English). But you can take a close look to the little sharks and also mr. turtle. We were going to spend our nite in wisma apung later by tonite.
Than we took off with boat (which have clear glass floor-so you can see corlas underneath). The trip took about 1 hour.
We rode to the main boat that anchored around 2km off the Menjangan Kecil Island. I went snorkling once more. Oh gosh the corals were beautiful, colourful and also the fishes. I met Nimo family there heheh. I know why people love diving..felt like you are in another world with no sounds only the sounds of the ocean. Ohh you have to be extra careful while you are snorkling here, watchout for those sharp, black animal that will sting you :D
After a very long tiring snorkling, me, andri, lukito and anti finally made to the shore.
Around 1.30 pm a traditional boat picked us up (got timing, we were getting bored :D). The we were off to another island. To Cemara Island. The trip was around 1 hour. MOst of us were sleeping on the boat. Than we stopped around 250-300 meters off the island. We were about to complain to the boat driver..Hey mister are you nuts leaving us here..it's still far away from the island. But than when we jumped off the boat it was breath taking view.
The water was only around our waist...the sand was white and really..really soft. Walk up little bit you can find this tiny island made of white sands. It was in the middle of the ocean. We all screamed with excitement. I mean..it was amazingly beautiful..breath taking, wonderful, masterpiece, heaven on earth.
One of the best thing bout this island is no one was there except us. We did sandman poses (we covered our body with sands from head to toe) and did stupid poses. And the gals decided to go skinny deeping. Ahh felt wonderful relaxing bathing in the warm clear water with no bikini. Just your skin and the ocean... Priceless !!
We found these unique seashells. It shaped like white coins with starfish shape in the middle. And my first encountered with starfishes too!! We left Cemara Islands with a hope of returning to it soon. It would be the perfect honeymoon destination too heheh.
We went back to Wisma Karimun.
Surround the Wisma Apung is clear water, you can even see corals underneath. Really unique back to nature experience. Our dinner was fresh grilled fish, veggie and little bit scalliop. Ahh yummiee.
Not much you can do at nite. Oh they have tv and some vcd or dvd player. If you travel with your friends, you may wanna bring cards or any games to kill the time at nite.
