Trip ends with a great museum

On our last full day in Athens, we visited the National Gallery, which had a fantastic temporary exhibition of the works of Iakovidis. Aside from that, the rest of the Gallery was amazing. Although the Iakovidis exhibition is ending this weekend (Jan 30, 06), you should go to the Gallery when you are next in Athens. It will be the first place I go when I am back in the city!

We left the city early morning on January 23, just barely missing the horrible weather (2 meters of snow in places we had just been....). We were lucky because back home the sun is shining and it's beautiful!
