Yellowstone trip
I have been wanting to go to Yellowstone for years and finally packed up the kids (my two dogs) and went up there last weekend. I stayed in West Yellowstone, a really cute tourist trap. If I didnt have the dogs, I am sure I wouldve had a good time in the bars with the tourists. I stayed in Hadleys Motel; I would recomend it if you just want a place to crash, but if you are with a big group of people or staying more than 1-2 people per room, it might not be the best fit- the rooms are SUPER small, barely enough room to get out of the bed.
Yellowstone was even more beautiful than I heard and I am so glad I took the trip. However, my souped up 98 Camaro parished on the way home....:( The engine blew. So, I ended up staying overnight in Afton, WY while I waited to be towed back to Salt Lake. If you havent been to Yellowstone, it is like no where else in the world, do your best to make the trip!
