Take a hike

We bought a hiking guide yesterday. After some discussion we tried to do a EE course (what stands for experienced hiker, which who we are not!) in the hills nearby. We did not realise it that time, but it would be hard day of labour. Packed with enough water and biscuits, we started with a good mood. It was more climbing than hiking. Especially upwards, we could not give ourselves the time to enjoy the panoramic view, struggling at a mule path, which was covered by trees anyway :)). At the zenit however and going on with the descent, it was wonderfull. At a steep slope we were accomplished with lots of butterflies and swallows. Heavy sweating we were so enjoying this. After reaching civilization again (hey, a road) we decided to take a break in Restaurant HOLLAND.
Although I am not fond of all that Dutch 'gedoe', we let us taste a good soup and soda.
After that, part two was in front of us. At another hill, the little river Neco falls some (in stages) 700 metres. We did climb the waterfall untill a crosspoint were we should to decide to go back along the other road or take the complete route. Climbing it was more or less a survival, went little bridges, some stairs and everywhere cable to keep the balance. It was marveleous... and energy consuming. The choice at the triplet was not difficult. If we wanted to go on, we won't be back before dark, so we took the other path down. This one guided us to the village Crone itself. At that point the mainroad that will bring us to campsite was visible.
The water was getting warm and the thoughts already by a nice cold beer, a last surprise came on the way. A red kite, just some 20 metres from us took off and flew all the way with. Stupid me, the adjustments on the camera were wrong, so no good photo was produced.

After the beer and a cool splash in the lake, we made carefully some ideas for the next days.
