Man, this was such an amazing hostel.
I knew I was in Costa Rica. The language barrier was the main indication, and yes the don't speak English in Italy, but its very touristy and most people knew some words, in Costa Rica, Spanish is defiantly the language to speak. We headed straight from the airport to the hostel because we arrived 3 hours late due to our near death experience. The hostel was so cool, everything I thought a hostel was. If you can't tell, this was the first time I had stayed in a hostel. And it was a rad experience, ever though my friend found bed bugs, but they weren't on me so it didn't bother me. The food we had for supper there was simply fantastic, best supper I've ever eaten, and they even catered to my vegetarian self. I was very impressed. After supper we all chilled separately, e-mailing everyone we could think of to tell them we almost died. But then eventually the ten of us ended up together, outside, listening to the other people staying at the hostel jam. It was AMAZING, and then a few people from our group got in on the jamming action. Seriously, best first impression of Costa Rica I could have asked for.
