An alarm sound and the sound of a walrus woke us this morning. The alarm sound came from my mobile phone, to say that it was seven o’clock and that we need to wake up for our trip to Luxemburg city.
The sound of the walrus came from the neighbour. She snores very loud. The first night we though that is came from our other neighbour, but we were wrong. I don’t know why our neighbour snore this way, but it was irritating and funny on the same time.
Now back to the story of this day. After the walrus and the alarm sound wake us, we start packing our bag, eat something, everything very slow (it was not even 8 o’clock) Around half past 8 we left the camping site and drove to the railroad station.
When we arrived in Luxemburg city we were wondering (again) about all the new cars, the well dressed people and the beautiful architecture.
I can use 5 million words and more to describe this sight, but you can better look at the pictures. Or visit Luxemburg city by your own.
During this day we experience some strange, funny, incredible and camdid camera liking happenings.
Around 12 o’clock we were at the ‘Place de la Constitution’ where you have a beautiful site over the delta of the Petrusse, the stream which flow through the city. On this place we saw a Bentley Continental GT Speed. It was a miracle, a beautiful sight. I was this car on pictures, but when you see it in real life it’s different. The car was lower, bigger, beautifully and much more cool than on the pictures.
Later on a (Belgium) guy started talking to us. He said that his car didn’t want to start and if we could help him. We said yes and we had to push the car, because he thought that if the car had a little speed it would start. Till then everything was alright. But the car stood in the middle of the ‘Place Clair fontain’. A beautiful fountain is in the middle of it. We helped the guy by pushing the car around the fountain. After one round we had the feeling that all this was a Candid Camera joke. Joël and I looked at each other and said that this would really be possible. We looked for blinded vans and cameras in the windows of the building around the square. There was a car for the TV station RTL, but there wasn’t a camera in it. We couldn’t discover something, so the pushed the car again. The Belgium guy wasn’t satisfied; he said that we need to push faster.
A strange thing was that he said that his accu was broken, but his electric windows and the radio were still working. A little bit strange and this gave us more doubt. When some Belgium boys helped us, the engine suddenly started and the Belgium guy was happy. And none camera crew came to the car to tell us t hat we were in some kind of Candid Camera show. It was a relieve.
The last strange view we saw when we arrived at the supermarket. We parked our car and we walked to the entrance. And suddenly we saw it, the car. This car was so funny, because it had a number plate which said BITCH996. How funny. What a strange experience had to be it for the owner when he went to the dealership to pick up his new car. You have to know that here are 997 more ‘BITCHES’ in Germany, because the numbers on the plate go from 001 to 999.
