The fantastic massage chairs and beautiful ocean view!

I have a favorite little spot on Okinawa that I love to go to!  It is straight out the main Lester gate, pass Starbucks, the baseball stadium, and then turn left at the end of the road into this little spa.  The name of it is Sea Side Refle.  It is right on the beach and next to a very large hotel.  The guests at the hotel have spa access and it is fun to watch all the families visiting here from mainland Japan.  The cost to go in and use the facilities is 1300 yen for adults and 700 yen for children.  This includes the regular pools, the mineral water pool, the jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room.  There are also facials, massages, etc., for an additional cost.  I’ve gone here several times with my friends and each time it is the same!  The time goes by sooo very fast and I leave completely relaxed!  Once you go inside and pay you are issued a key and asked to take off your shoes.

There are cubby holes on the wall that you stash your shoes into.  You spend the rest of your time bare foot.  Next you head into the locker rooms to lock up anything you do not want to carry around with you and then you are off to do whatever you want!  I like to start with the massage chairs first, that way I am dry, I don’t think they want you in their nice leather chairs all wet!  It cost 100 yen for 10 minutes of a full body massage.  I wish I had one of these chairs in my room to crawl into first thing in the morning!  After the nice chair massage I like to go into the regular pool and just float around.  It is right on the ocean and they play music underwater, relaxing music with dolphin a whale noises.  It is the best to just float around.
The warm mineral water pool
Depending on the weather and my friends than we head over to the jacuzzu, sauna, or steam room.  Following these spots I usually go back into the regular pool to cool down.  Last I like to go into the mineral water pool.  The water in here is very warm and it makes your skin feel as smooth as silk!  I usually end my time here at the Foot Doctor.  This is something that I have only experienced on Okinawa.  I think it should actually be called the Feet Doctors.  You sit down and put your feet and calves into a large tub of water.   This water has quite a few fish in them.  These fish eat the dead skin off of your feet.  It is quite the experience and tickles!  Ten minutes is included with your price. My daughter freaks out with the fish.  She says it tickles like crazy!  If you get a chance, head on over and enjoy a nice relaxing few hours at this Okinawan Spa.
