Going to MI, Mancelona to be exact, was in my mind for approx 1 month. I've been postponing it, because of work and some doubts, but I was completely sure about: “I want to go and I won’t be alone” :) Finally I got the opportunity and took it! Hey! That’s the way to do things, don’t worry about them too much. Life is short. People were asking me: What are you gonna do in MI??? Well, just take a look at the blog and you’ll see it was a great decision!

A stop in Atlanta ;)

long line of people complaining, ufff
My flight in DTW was delayed, but I didn't worry about missing my flight, since I had a 4 hours layover, haha. I didn't have any problems, but there were some people who lost their connections and they were really pissed off. I understand them... There was a long line of people complaining about that, ufffffff.

I had to go to another terminal, but in my way I saw an exhibition of African Art. Cool! It was late, so most of the shops were closed. Fortunately I found one open, which has magnets, haha. So I got my magnet, yay! When I was at the plane I opened the bag and the guy from the store made a mistake and gave me 2 magnets instead of 1, oh!!!

I had 2 hours to kill and was just walking around when a man approached to me and asked me: "Did anyone say it to you?" What? To say me what? "You are a cute girl!" OMG! This man was so sweet.

I just smiled and he said: "pls don't get mad, I'm here waiting for my wife and her flight has been delayed." He was telling me how he met her in Manila, a love story, hehe. He was happy he made me smile ;)

Then I went to my gate and took a sit. I just had to be patient and wait to start boarding. I was sitting next to the emergency exit, so I had plenty of space for my legs, haha. My idea was to sleep during the flight, so I would arrive to Lima, not too tired. Nobody was sit next to me, but next to the window there was a friendly guy from Montreal. I listened to him speaking in French and although I don't speak I said: "Merci". That was the beginning of a looooooooooooong chat, haha. Well, I didn't need to say I barely slept ;)
