A quick, but tasty stop in lovely Alden

He told me the ice cream here is very creamy, not at all
like the Italian I’m used to. Ok, let’s try it. Having an ice cream was a
perfect idea since it was really hot. We were getting a bit hungry. It was
almost 5pm and we didn’t have lunch, mmm. Better skip lunch and go straight to
dinner, but we would start having dessert, haha. So, it was time for Ice Cream!!!!
Yummy! We stopped at the “Higgin’s Store”, which among other things, offer their
famous ice cream, hehe.
Eric got a huge ice cream. I don’t remember the name of the
flavor, but there is no way I will forget its look. It has unusual bright colors
– for food at least – green, orange, yellow. Looked a bit radioactive, but
tasted very sweet. It was really good. I ordered the smallest one, but it was
huge too, OMG!!! The flavor I chose was “Cherry” haha, Well, I was in the Cherry
Capital, so it made sense.
Enjoying our huge ice creams, we took a walk around the
sweet town. The streets were so nice and small, with flowers and shields. The
Unfortunately we couldn’t stay longer, since we had to go to the farm and I wanted to changed before going out for dinner, hehe. Fashion goes first ;)
