Oh! Too much light!! Too bright!!! My eyes!!! Haha, it was 6am and we were arriving to New York, actually it was New Jersey. Better – a new city to my collection, haha. Karl, Katey and I left the plain at same time, but we had to split before doing customs. They are American Citizens and I’m the Peruvian girl, hahaha.

I was expecting the officers would ask me what would I do in MI, but it didn’t happen. The officer checked my passport and just commented: “you come a lot to the USA, you really like it here, haha!”

He asked me how long I’ll stay this time. I said: just 5 days… Mmm, he stamped my passport and then I noticed he gave me a 6 months stay haha.

do I need to say where I am??? haha
So far, all the officers in customs liked me, haha. I just show up with a huge smile :)

Although it was just a layover, I had to claim my luggage, mmm.  It was hot and I was wearing warm clothes, so it was time to change my outfit, haha. Before leaving with your luggage, you had to go through another security. They would check the content of your bags, OMG!!! But it wasn’t bad at all, the officer was really kind and fun. He noticed I had a bottle inside my suitcase. It was the Pisco. He asked me: ”What is this?” I just replied: “Pisco, the Peruvian liquor, have you tried it?”. So we just started talking about how it tastes, haha. Suddenly the revision was over and I was free to go, hehehe.

I was looking for my gate to Detroit when I saw Karl and Katey. They were waiting for me. Katey wanted to say “Chau” to her new Peruvian friend. So sweet!!!!! We exchanged emails and hugs. I left my suitcase and went to my gate. I didn’t know it that the plain to Detroit would be so small!!! Anyway, it was just a short flight + I was tired and was thinking just about the idea of taking a nap, haha.

MI, here I go…
