We fixed our snacks for the day and also packed some clothes, since we would spend the whole day going from one place to another and needed to change clothes for dinner and party. We left the farm around 9:30am. We didn’t drive straight to Empire, where the dunes are located, first we had to go to TC to pick up the wine, haha. Mmm, it might get hotter, so better leave the wine at the store, but pay for them.

Well, now it was time for the hardest part: “Climbing the Dunes”. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the climbing, suddenly I saw a lot of people climbing, they looked tiny as ants. OMG, would I be able to do it? Yes! I will! :) Fortunately I had my mini Hello Kitty backpack. I put 2 bottles of water inside and Eric grabbed a bag with fresh cherries. I took a deep breath and it was time to start climbing. Thank God, I got Flip Flops the day before, ufff. We started climbing. It was a bit hard, not because of the height, but because of the sand.
Climbing the dunes was a great exercise.
We went back to the jeep, ate our pizza and drank some soda. We didn’t have any other activity planned besides the dinner. But it was still early, mmm, what to do now? Eric asked me: “would you like to go for some wine tasting in the vineyards nearby?” I just thought: “Are you kidding me, Eric? You don’t have to ask it, let’s do it!” hahaha.
Wine tasting, here we go… ;)
