Back in Lima... happy & sad...

The adventure was getting over. I was flying back home, to my dear Lima. I was feeling happy, because I'd see my family and Gunther again, but also sad, because I didn't want to stop traveling, :( Well, I might be flying back to the States soon, hehe.

As I said before, I wasn't able to sleep during the flight. Not because I was uncomfortable, but because of the interesting person I met. His name is Jean Pierre. He's from Montreal, has been in many countries all over the world, plays the guitar and has the coolest job in the world - at least for me. He's in tourism and has to visit different countries, staying in different hotels, trying different things, just to write reviews about them and recommend or not recommend them to the tourists. And he gets paid for it!!!! Furthermore, he does it with his girlfriend!!! Where can I send my application?  OMG, I envy you, JP!

Peru is becoming an important destination, that's why he was sent to do a research here. He was going straight to Cusco, but would stop in Lima in his way back to Canada, hopefully I can meet him here and give my CV, lol. Seriously, I'd love to meet him and make him realize that Lima is beautiful too, hehe.  But I wans't lucky during the flight not only because I met JP, but also because the flight attendant was really nice to both of us. He was spoiling us and at the end of the flight he gave us a small purse, with all the things they give to the 1st class, haha, just to say we flew 1st class ;)

We arrived early and we were the only flight arriving at that time, so it didn't take long to do customs and claiming our bags. JP was in a hurry, since he was supposed to catch a flight inmediately in order to go to Cusco. I got a message from him the next day. He met his girlfriend and they both were in Cusco :)

A cab was waiting for me. My mom arranged everything very well. The drive back home wasn't too long, since the traffic wasn't bad.  As I opened the door, Gunther jumped over me, haha. My mom and dad were still there. We couldn't talk for long since they had to leave in order to go to work. We agreed to talk later - at night.

I was feeling a bit tired, sad - because the trip was over - but at same time excited. That day later, I'd meet Michael he was arriving from Russia!!! I haven't unpacked and was already thinking about meeting another TB, yay!!!
