Travel to Prague - Day 14

Morning of wednesday August 6, we had breakfast with Lili (Schumi had already left for work). We bid our farewells, and left for the train station to travel to the Czech Republic. After a connection in Dresden, we arrived in Prague in the evening. This is clearly a mecca for backpackers; the train station was crazy full of them. There were several people who apprached us asking if we needed a hostel. After realizing after a while we had no idea where to go (we had not managed to arrange a Servas host here) we finally talked to one of these hawkers. Of course, the one we pick is also the one who looks most like a criminal who preys on hapless tourists, and he didn't speak English very well. He insisted we follow him out of the train station and into a narrow street; this was a little frightening for us. But soon we had a private room for a reasonable price (I think?), even its own bathroom. A little frazzled, we had dinner at an authentic Czech restaurant. The food was very good, but a little heavy on the rich greasy meat side.
To bed afterwards.
More to come!
