Livorno - Day 45

Saturday, September 6th, the ship stopped in Livorno, Italy. After our usual quick breakfast we got off and just wandered, mostly. For a while we poked around this area that had sidewalk booths set up where all kinds of wares were sold. Other than that, we didn't find much that seemed interesting, and really we were just feeling pretty worn out. A familiar feeling at this point in our trip. So we found a nice little cafe that had a shady outdoor patio to have a drink. As has happened so often in our trip, the communication barrier struck again, as the waitress brought two glasses of wine instead of wine. Poor Eli. After a nice long period of relaxing, we eventually wandered back to the ship.
The night before we had made appointments for full body Bali-style massages, so we headed to the salon. Holy Cow, these were incredible. Afterwards was dinner. Later in the evening we joined our tablemates for a drink at the piano bar. Tonight was to be our last night on the ship, so we toasted to each other's continued voyages and bid each other farewell. Afterwards we had to pack up (7 days without doing so was nice, but not long enough), and then to bed.
